Save the Dates

I made my save the dates using Photoshop, and then had them printed at Costco.  I added magnets to the back of them, and then they were on their way!!  I was REALLY happy with how they turned out for one of my first Photoshop projects using TONS of layers!!

Boarding Pass Invitations

Dustin and I are very low-key, casual people!!  This is one of the reasons we wanted to get married in Hawaii.  So when I found the idea for the Boarding Pass Invitations - I knew this was something we were going to do.  I did the mock-up of what I want, but the actual invitations are being printed at a invation place in AZ called Definitely Debra.  You can see the mock-up of what I gave our invitation place.  Hopefully they come back with something extremely close!!  They should be sending me the proof by the end of the week (8/7/09)

For the template that I used go to http://www.gnyc.net/senseless/2006/06/10/diy-boarding-pass-save-the-date/

Envelope Wraps

I am really trying to figure out how to make and print these envelope wraps.  Making the design of them in photoshop hasn't been the hard part.  It is trying to figure how to get all the addresses in - in an easy way.  And how/where to print them.  I'm not even going to attempt to print them on my lovely inkjet printer, although I'm sure the results would be gorgeous  ;)  Here is my inspiration from knottie lisakeiko

Programs

I want to do something very similar to this, but just in our wedding colors instead.

Wedding Monogram

Our monogram was created by I Do Originals (http://www.idooriginals.com/)  I also looked at using Aylee Bits (http://ayleedesigns.gnyc.net/front.html?monograms.htm) but ultimately decided to go with I Do Originals because they would do customized monograms.  The top one is the design we decided to go with.  However, we loved the bottom left one a TON because of the pineapple - which is a part of our consistent theme!!  It was a hard choice!!

And the finished product...

We ended up using our monogram everywhere... it was on the envelope wraps, invitations, etc.  But here is the most creative way we used it.  Dustin and I wanted to make sure that there were lots of fun games at the bungalows that kept everyone entertained (also, it is a non-threatening way for people who don't know each other too well to interact with one another).  So we bought a few games to bring.  We LOVE playing cornhole, but I didn't think there would be any way that we could get it there, and they are pretty expensive.  Dustin surprised me with this one.  One of our friends dads made this for us, after Dustin sent him a picture of our monogram.

At Home Open House Invitation

We had an open house in both Arizona and Oregon once we got home.  I used photoshop and some digital scrapbooking items to create these, and then printed them on 5x7 lustre photo paper at Costco
